Our Mission
This intertribal league is established to advocate for the promotion and preservation of our inherent tribal sovereignty, the protection of our treaty rights, assertion of our tribal status, and the acknowledgment of the same by the government of the United States of America.
The specific initial focus of this league shall be mutual advocacy for the affirmation of federal acknowledgement of the continuing tribes of the colonial era of the eastern and southern seaboard of the continental United States. We adopt this mission as a matter of justice and tribal survival in a federal climate that is hostile to the existence of our tribal nations and because of a federal government that continues to take discriminatory actions against our inherent status, overlooking and denying its historical, political, and legal relationship with our tribal governments.
